Neoclassical Etude #2, Lesson By Marcus Lavendell |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Neoclassical Etude #2 by Marcus Lavendell
Hi this is my first REC and I actually did it before my first subscription to GMC, you can read more detail on how I first met GMC on my "introduction thread" on the forum I know the volume of the backing track is a bit high but you can still hear the guitar pretty well and I like when guitar just plays along with the other instruments in this kind of neoclassical pieces. When I did this take, it was not for REC but just for my facebook friends. I know it's not perfect but it's me having fun with the guitar and I did it just after a break-up so be indulgent! I post it today because I plan to do some more serious (and harder) ones in the next few days (so you can be a lot more severe with me) and I'm just too excited to just wait and not post anything yet! I hope you'll enjoy this one, cheers. Rob. This post has been edited by Robinhola: Jun 18 2013, 12:42 AM |

Hi Robin! I just saw your intro thread and now this take! Congrats on your first REC take!!
The mix makes very difficult to hear your guitar, I put a big effort but I can't really heard your guitar to be able to give you feedback and grade it. Could you please redo the mix? Thanks! -------------------- My lessons

Hey mate, out of what I can see your left hand moves in the groove, but as Gabe said - please turn up the guitar volum in the mix so we can hear it properly
Thank you! Cosmin |
