Sweet Guitar. I have a Dean EVO and just love it!

How do 7 strings work? The 7th string is generally tuned to 'B' right? Do you have to think about playing in any special way to accomodate the new string?

Yeah, the standard tuning is BEADGBE, But it play it BbEbAbDbGbBbEb so the strings are a bit more loose, Making it easier to bend the strings, since there a bit heavier than the normal gauge for a 6. I play it almost the same as 6, The only thing I had to change was learning to realize that when Im playing on the low B, Its not the same chord as when I was playing on low E on a 6 string, therefore i had to change leads and solos and such to fit the new chord progression.

Other than that, It felt quite natural to me smile.gif
