I wonder if anyone can give some tips on Stealth Plug (IK Multimedia)

It is a USB cable Audio card interface for your guitar or bass. It comes with some amp & FX modeling software and a program called "Tracktion" for recording tracks. It also included Amplitube live, T-RackS.EQ and Sampletank 2 SE.

I bought this over a month ago and have been experimenting with it.
It has many cool effects and amp/cabinet/mic up selections available. I have not been able to get the sound to come through my PC Speakers. I either plug headphones in to the jack on the stealth plug or I convert a 1/4 plug down to go from there to an amp. Any effect being modeled comes through the amp. It works quite well.

My question is: has anyone managed to get the PC speakers to work as an output?
Secondly is there any other interface/software I should be using instead?

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

Thanks

I am guessing it came with ASIO drivers? If that is the case you can use it with audio software like Cubase ... you would record it first and play it back through the speakers afterwards.

I downloaded a try it and buy it Cubase SX 3. I have not been able to get it to work as of yet. I will spend more time on it as soon as I am done playing with my old software now that I have it working better.

Thanks for the tip

I just went and got the cord. after crawling around under the desk I have it working. Works great. Not sure why I never thought of that. I guess that is why I ask the smart people for help.

Thanks again.
