Nopz, it's 1x VOX original (12 inch 8 ohm), as it says on the musicstore site. I can also see just one conus, so I gues it's that one, quite big wink.gif How about the tube, how can I replace it, and why should I ever?

BTW, it has black cover, not the shiny white one tongue.gif

I hoped for a deeper sound, that doesn't sound so tine. It worked so far tongue.gif It still needs some thorough testing though.

does yours get a buzz when you hit the higher gains?

Posted by: Ivan Milenkovic Feb 10 2009, 01:36 AM

I think putting a nice hi quality tube in there can make the amp sound even better. If you intend to change it, just buy one hi end Mullard 12AX7 (ECC83) and it will color the sound nicely.

I read some forum posts in another forum about putting Mesa Tun Songs in there... They said it sounded better.

@Marc: It has a very soft buzz, but really soft. The noise reduction takes out all the excessive noises. Using it can be quite tricky tongue.gif I believe it was the EDIT 1 knob while holding the Tap and Bypass button or something like that.. just check the manual tongue.gif

Tung-Sol is a good brand as well.

That's the one tongue.gif But I'm not into changing tube atm.... I'd need to take the back off, release the speaker and then replace tube? My baby is closed so I can't take a peek ;P
