GMC Forum _ Collaborations _ Blues Collab Backing Track Is Here...plug And Kick Over It! :)
Posted by: muris Aug 22 2007, 03:41 AM
Here it is guys!!
I'll explain chord progression:
Gm7, C7/9, Gm7, D7/+9, Eb 7/9, D7/+9, Gm7 and D7/+9.
Now,DON"T be scared by these chords!!
Just jam a bit using G minor pentatonic/G blues scale/G Dorian etc.
These chords are common pattern for blues stuff and you'll find yourself comfortable to play over them.
Looking forward to hear your Blues Master Pieces!!!
Note: Start playing after/or with first drum fill.
Your tracks shall start from the same spot as this BT I provided(just to make my mixing easier)

Great sounding track - but can;t we have about 10 times around each ??? I just can't play it once !
Ok, I'm going for feel and subtlety on this one ...
Posted by: muris Aug 22 2007, 04:44 AM
Yeah,it keeps you to play over and over, but now it's just for once
So be careful with note choice and let your heart tell the story!!

Take your time Dan.
This is the deal,I'm going on vacation(well deserved I hope) on Aug 26th.
If all of you manage to finish it before 26th,I'll make the mix right away.
If not,I'll do mixing as soon as I come back, around Sept 5th.
Thanks

Any how,you are bit OUT at the start but last few beats are OK.

or you(as this take shows) started OUT and got it right latter..

If you can hear the audio out of your computer speakers while the video plays, then that all you need right. Take a 1/8 inch cord and run it from your head phone jack back into your line in and record as the video/audio plays?
Heck of a guess, I have been know to do this to get streaming audio to record. Hehe
Like I said it is just a guess at how one might get this done.

I "was" using a webcam. If it helps all I did was hit the record button. I got a lot of background stuff going on, but it worked. For a camera camera type thing. Check for a usb to hook it to your computer. Then just import, either the webcam, or the camera file onto "Reaper" as a media file. Then just after that is all done and said. Just take the finished file, and import onto here.
I hope that helps JVM!!!
