Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.
I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:
* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!
* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.
* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.
* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.
* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.
* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?
* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Thanks for the kind and inspiring words. Maybe I'll try and enter one. I can't seem to find any contests or competitions going on at the moment though.

Nothing to it mate Just don't make it hard on yourself by letting your mind trick you into leaving the yellow brick road
In the mean time, let's see that take |

I can't really tell if this is better or not. The end is somewhat off...I find it kinda difficult coming in at the right time with that:

Yeah, I know it lacks quite a few things. Was merely to get going with recording and getting used to Cubase

I'm using Guitar Rig and some impulse response. I can't really get a good djent sound though. Here's another try:

I mean what are you planning to record? |

It's so difficult finding a nice djent-ish tone that has bass, but also presence. I can't seem to get it right, but I've improved it yet again, I feel.
I'm not as such planning to record anything - not untill I have a full song, maybe based around that riff there. But besides that I'm just trying to get into the groove of recorded with some various riffs. And then just trying to get a rythm tone that I like. Hmmm.mp3 ( 1.15MB ) Number of downloads: 103 The annoying thing with trying to come up with a good tone is that my headphones and speakers sound SO different. What sounds good on one of them doesn't sound good on the other, it seems. But this is the closest I've come so far. EDIT: Here's yet another try: Hmmm2.mp3 ( 1.15MB ) Number of downloads: 100 This post has been edited by Caelumamittendum: Jan 26 2014, 12:13 AM |

I think that I definitely like the first one better - it's less bassy and it has more presence
