All this talk of G3 and Steve Vai is making me jealous, no one really comes to Ireland and if they do they only play 1 show in Dublin (3 hours away and I'm usually working!)

Who would you choose?

Guthrie Govan, Mattias Eklundh and Andy Timmons or...Al DiMeola, Michael Lee Firkins and Marco Sfogli - I think I could cook up more combos if I thought a bit more biggrin.gif

Hmmm there are a couple of names coming to my mind immediately...

Michale Schenker / Chris Oliva / Zakk Wylde

or

David Gilmour / Mark Knopfler / Joe Bonamassa

or

Guthrie Govan / Satriani / Vai (that might be very interesting :-) )

Good call on Schenker !! smile.gif

My first ever concert was a G3 with Satriani/Schenker/Uli Jon Roth at Wembley Arena in 1998 (I think!). I wasn't too familiar with Schenker and had never heard of Roth but they blew my mind ! smile.gif

I would choose EVH, Gary Moore and Randy Rhoads (of course, being dead could be a problem... at least until the Zombie apocalypse)
