> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Another killer take man! This one shows some of the elements that we've marked previously improved! I think that there is only some little room to improve timing but the overall is flawless.

Congrats on your great playing!

Another piece of great job! Even better than the previous one which seemd to be already spot on.Be carefull with vibrato - in fact you have that characteristic for Yngwie, wide and wild touch, but at some points you keep strings a bit "on bend"so you vibrate over already pitched up note.

Hi man, another good take of this lesson. I see that you've improved the timing on the pedal tone lick which sounds much better now. The main things I still think you need to work on are vibrato, bending and timing.

In this take, your timing is often slightly ahead of the beat, which is easy to do in an energetic track so you need to take care when there's lots of precise bending / vibrato phrases next to lots of shreddy licks.
