i've been asked that by friends recently a lot.
i say fender because i have a strat copy. and apart from les pauls i don't like gibson shapes. but apart from strats i don't particularly like fenders either.
so neither, love jacksons though.

I'm a Gibson girl smile.gif

There is just something about them that just does it for me. I've toyed with the idea of getting a Fender, played a few, but none of them came close to the sound and feel of my Les Paul (to me anyways). Great guitars but I just love my Gibson wub.gif

Real men play les pauls WITH 50'S style necks. Telecasters are nice, not as, but still nice. A guitar needs some bulk to be a manly guitar. Ibanez, Jackson, Hello Kitty Strats, those are girlie man guitars.

Truth is, it's the girlie men like fkalich that need a big, fat Les Paul to boost their ego's. wink.gif Gibson...it's like a drug man.

Strats complying with the options, but Ibanez all the way.
