Hi, the C at the beginning of the line means that the time signature is 4/4.

Yes, C is another way to write 4/4.
Tho I believe that is the only measure that has symbol like this as an option,without numbers,right guys? -------------------- Youtube

I think you are right Muris, I did not heard of any other time signature that has letter symbol as well. C is for 4/4 only.

@Muris and Ivan, hi, i'm not really sure about it, but i heard that the C with a line across (vertically) mean its 2/2. but anyway thats a very rare (and probably boring) time signature to use. Oh yeah,I think I saw that one as well,thanks for input ,pretty rare tho,yes. -------------------- Youtube

Yes quite right all, the C is common time i.e. 4/4 and C with a line thru it is cut time.

Yes indeed, I just remembered that one as well from old music books. Haven't seen that in a while so couldn't remember at first. C with a vertical line means 2/2

Yes it means 4/4. I have an old classical theory book that also covers the C with a line through will double check!
