All I can say after surfing around this site for a couple of days is wow....

It looks like there is everything here that I'm going to need for a long, long time.

I've been taking lessons for around three months now, but I found that I was not playing as much between lessons as I should. I would basically just make sure that I had played through my exercises a couple of times before my next lesson so my instructor wouldn't catch on.

Since I've found this site, I've been playing every day, for literally hours. So far, I've just been trying out some of the different video lessons. I haven't gone into depth on anything yet.

What I haven't found is a straight twelve bar backing track (preferably in A) so I can practice my minor pentatonic leads over it. Is there one here? I'll be surprised if there's not, I just haven't found it yet.

I look forward to working through everything here, starting with all the beginner lessons.

Then, it's probably time for a classical so I can try some of those great lessons (they just don't sound the same through my electric wink.gif).

Hi There!

Gabriel did a series on blues and I am sure you will be able to find a backing track there to suit you!

Regards,

Andrew

Welcome to GMC, i hope it serves you well. I do think there's something for everyone here now so i hope you like it. Personally, i mainly just use the GMC forums i don't really use the lessons i just watch and listen to them. I get given stuff from my personal guitar teacher though. The lessons i find i'm not sure what to do or go with so i've stopped now. The GMC forum is great everyones really friendly and helpful
