So heres a video of Dream Theater covering Pantera's Cemetery Gates:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiH_yDpyRDU

There are 2 special guests here; (i believe) the vocalist Russel Allen from Symphony X (who does a great job here) joins Theater's LaBrie doing vocals and the other guest will go unmentioned for now....

Petrucci does a great job of the guitar parts- im really loving this cover up untill the second special guest takes stage....

I'm sure you know this famous guitarist: and i'll let you discuss his take on this classic solo........

I'm really not cool with how MR Megadeth gets way more attention for his 'solo' than Petrucci does for his flawless technique...

anyways...

The other guest singer is Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory.

This was in Texas during the first Gigantour. Dave's solo was a little sloppy but I'm still glad he went on stage to show his respect for Dimebag.

Dream theater are good. Dream theater are VERY good, and i should know, ive seen them twice xD

But the covers of Metallica and Pantera arent so good, it seems a bit too much By the Book.

The Number of the Beast cover album they did was amazing though, really impressed me!
