How is your week announcing itself? Will you be practicing hard - what are you planning on practicing? Will you be having gigs? If yes, why not shout it out to everyone tongue.gif

My agenda for the day. I'm hoping to hit up the gym and do some light lifting and/or walking. Then relax a bit work on my legato until me and my mom go out for lunch since today is my birthday. Which I am stoked for this lunch, she found a burger place near a big city and it's actually owned by a famous Food TV star. So far all is well minus the time is 5:30am here and I went to bed at 1:00am. laugh.gif

Good morning! biggrin.gif I do not have any gigs lined out this week sir, just making my guitar videos so you can hear the actual guitar is my focus, lol im such a noob! biggrin.gif I'm using the free software you linked me to a while back (The video with Ivan) to clean up the sound on my video, and it is like a miracle! Lol, I did so much recording, then on playback I could hardly hear my guitar, ... but a little work on reaper, and its ok, haha smile.gif ( sound quality is still pretty bad though) smile.gif Have a good day Cosmin

Not knowing all the details, but I had the same problem til I got a decent interface. It made my guitar sound better thru the computer but didn't help my playing wink.gif !

As for myself, I'll be practicing Todd's Lesson Notes #102, Laszlo's Slow Blues in A Minor, Gab's Blues-Get that Shuffle & Cos's Combining Arpeggios & Scales (I love the sound of Arpeggios!) smile.gif

Have an exceptional week guys & don't forget to practice (more)!!!!! biggrin.gif

I am working for most of the day, for the next three days, including today. In my spare time I am going to be playing guitar as usual. I will be working on my projects. I am finding out just how much it takes to get a track professionally mixed and mastered. I might have to wait a while. biggrin.gif I am considering the consequences of possibly getting a Facebook for my music. Do I want to deal with whiners who get offended that I not accept their friend requests? tongue.gif And will Facebook claim my life as it has so many others'? ...

Brandon, get I want to say it's called a fan page. That way people can just like the page and get news that you post, instead of the headache of friends.

Gooood morning Coz-MAN!! It's sunny and beautiful in Portland, and I'm finishing my veggie breakfast sandwich and coffee and starting my 10hr day at the mattress store. Sunny Day = Slow Mattress sales. Slow Mattress Sales = Many hours to practice guitar at work!! biggrin.gif

So, I will begin by warming up and working on Vivaldi and Country Pickin Advanced lessons (2 of my favs, that I have yet to master!!). I will submit results to my new mentoring (w/Cosmin) thread, and to Dinaga as well. Dinaga and I are constantly encouraging one another to post vids an results!! biggrin.gif
I'll also attempt to start on that chord vid lesson that you suggested. I may not get enough time to get it all down and post a vid today, but I'll get started on familiarizing myself on it.

I do have a gig this coming Sat with my funk/jazzy-funk band, "Planet Jackers". This vid is pretty old (hence, the Strat!) and it's a cover of a New Mastersounds song. If you dig classic style funk, and killer jazzy funk guitarwork, check them out and their guitarist Eddie Roberts!! Anyway, we play every last-sat at the Blue Monk, one of Portland's oldest funk/jazz venues. We've got a bunch of new tunes we're debuting this next Sat. One of which I'll include a link to that as well. It's an original I wrote: http://soundcloud.com/planet-jackers/05-bruiser

Forgive me....it's a rehearsal take on a new song. I certainly need to "solidify" my playing on a few parts. But I thought I'd share that new tune!!

We're also coming into our next EMULATOR show, 4/12 so I'm needing to just immerse myself in that material as well.

A busy week, and busy day. I'm about finished with breakfast, so it's almost time to ROCK!! tongue.gif
