Thanks a lot. Ive been downloading every backing track I could lay my hands on, so that when Im good enough, I would have lots of tracks to jam to.

Hmm.. I think you should try to find the key in the notes. You can download the notes from the BT's at guitar-idol, so that might be handy for figuring out the key.

Looking at the notes, cool blues is in Am. The chord progressions starts and ends with a Am7 chord, so that would be most logic.

Just listen to the first note of the backing, then try to figure out what note it is with your guitar. And there you have the key......works almost all the time for me.
Reflections is in E minor I think
