Hi friend. You already can play this one, and the next step is to give it a more natural feeling. I think that your vibrato is not going naturally with the backing and the overall song. It seems that you are using the technique correctly but now it's time to feel it. If you listen to your playing and compare it with Cosmin's, you will notice that your take is more nervous, and that your vibrato tempo is not related with the backing's tempo. Also pay attention to your bending's pitch (for example starting at 1:49).

Very nice take and a good tone.

As Gab said, you sound a little nervous with your vibrato and bending in some places so some more time playing this kind of stuff would help alleviate that.

The main thing I notice is timing.. you are a bit too quick with letting down some of the bends and too quick to end a phrase. Try to relax and not rush in front of the backing too much and that will make a very big difference ! smile.gif

It's very promising though.. you could really get good at this type of playing if you keep at it !

Hello mate smile.gif I am honored you chose this track and aside from Gabe's and Ben's observations, I will add a few important aspects:

- your phrasing differs from mine in a lot of spots, so please try to emulate the exact take in respect to timing, phrasing and articulation
- the quirky bends found in the first part (ex - min 0:07) are not being played in your take. Please try to record against the original recording to see the exact spots in which you are missing things. Those bends are important for the phrasing, but somehow, everyone misses them, without any exception tongue.gif Please try to get them right.

Keep rocking,

Cosmin

Hello Beat! Very nice take. Indeed probably the nervous feel of Your playing is the biggest issue here. You have a nice tone and abilities to play very descent solos. Try to play that track a bit more and feel into the mood instead of thinking about how to not mess anything. I know it's hard but after some time of playing it will come naturally. You can also give Yourself much longer warm up in front of the camera. When to nerves go away...pres the REC button smile.gif
