I've created two heartless creation topics a while ago and since I wanna keep on having comments on the progression of this track, I'm gonna do an ultimate topic and post here all the advances...Here's the last one...
Notes from 11-02-2009:
- I'm sorry if the acoustic part is a little low (in volume) but the track itself was way stronger than the distortion part I recorded and that simply couldn't happen...
- I don't know much about drums, this was done with the help of pizoarro but, the only thing I did was the beginning drum idea and, I passed the midi from from GP to Cubase, and that's it, don't know anything about it so would like to hear suggestions.
- Already have some ideas next to the part where the track ends but, no drums for them have been made yet
For those who wanna hear the acoustic part better while I don't update the topic, here is the other link

The progression sounds great man, Flows together very nicely. Love the "wind" effect on the intro, I abused that in one of my songs recently
The heavy part sounds pretty awesome, I'd love to hear it continue, into some further structure, Definitely got some awesome tunes goin here.
Thanks, I'm trying to work on drums for the next part as we speak...
Sounds great. I love the intro
very nice man, I´m taking the screenshot we talked about in the chat!
cool sound:)
Sounds great so far!!
This sounds like a great idea for the song. You have to learn how to program midi drums in Cubase. Don't use GP for that. Learn all note durations then you can draw midi events and assign a drum sound on it. Of course you should know how it should be played in a real life so you know what to program. Find some basic recording tutorials on youtube. It doesn't need to be in cubase, the principle is the same. The idea sounds very cool
