It's rare for someone to have access to a variety of classic tube amps like this to do a comparison. Notice how the knobs respond the same as the actual amps. Regardless of the comparison, it's some damn fine playing! You can download the presets here: http://www.fractalaudio.com/accurate.php

That's impressive.
Though don't think they'll be a "a few hundred bucks" any time soon.

That a great, mobile, valuable device for professionals. What we want to hear is the target. If we can get to it without racks of gear and heavy tube amps, then it's great. I will never become a side in the traditionals vs digitals conflict. Still...I keep myself attached to a traditional guitar gear, since I simply love how real amps breath thorugh a regular guitar speakers. No matter how many scientific arguments would stand behind new technology, it just doesn't seem to give me similar emotional relation, like with a real amp.

I had to wait quite a while before I bought my first 11 rack as well. They started out crazy pricey too imho. But everyone has their own idea of what "crazy pricey" means. As I always try to keep my spending between a first and third year students, fx cap about $350 multi or single and guitars cap about $500 typically all gear is used unless it's a special case. So I'll get one eventually, about the time nearly everyone can afford one smile.gif

Yeah...no smile.gif Check out the AX8 though. Same great modeling in a more modest package.
