Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

You are def on the right path here - so my advice would be to keep keep going but please think of the following: * Your posture: When you do not need to look at the fretboard, your neck should be totally straight as this will greatly improve your performance in the longer run and help you avoid injury. In this case I think you know the lesson well by now, so you probably only need to check the fretboard on a few occasions (ie when there is a bigger position shift) * Your picking movement looks really good. However fo the sake of building speed, you could also try decreasing the movement even more. I try to have both approaches available to me - I use the wider motion for tone and the smaller motion when I need to play really fast. * Your performance is not totally consistent here. You will likely solve this with more practicing time - but it doesn't hurt to throw in a reminder always always practice at a tempo where you are in total control. I feel like you're in font of the beat in the first (8th) notes section In the triplets you got some more consistency while you kept playing for a longer "distance". First few where uneven. What feels a good thing in this take is the fact that most of notes are tonally equal and seems to be played strong. I think I would try to split some notes for accents and some for fills. Playing accents stronger and fills lighter, would make things easier to keep hand relaxed and to match better with the timing. Try to imagine you are the one to trigger the drums.
