Some guy on Reddit built a guitar with an acrylic top and created a beautiful effect

Not sure how it sounds but for a single cut guitar with Mahogany body and acrylic top 7.3 lb is a pretty good weight

I was listening to the Everyone Loves Guitar podcast at the weekend and specifically the Martin Miller episode. He mentions that he has small hands, saying even his girlfriend has bigger hands than him.

As someone who also doesn't have the biggest of hands or long fingers I checked his youtube videos a little closer to see if I could pick up any handy tips.

The most obvious one is how high he wears his guitar when standing up,

It does look like I may have to forego the looking cool height for the sounding cool height!

I know every situation is different and every voice is different

What would you use as a starting point for a natural fairly intimate vocal in terms of compression Reverb and delay,

I find a lot of presets even to use as a starting point is way too much if I'm trying to do a vocal and guitar track and just want to polish it up a little from the dry source.

Certainly more comprehensive and useful than most I've seen available

Looks like we have to wait for an android version

A few years ago I picked up an Epiphone Dot, a pretty decent guitar for 400eur. Recently I took the gloss off with a little success and also put a new wiring harness and thornbucker pickups in it.

Sounds great but I'm not a fan of the neck profile which is a flattish D

Just this week I find out there is an Epiphone 335 which is a little more expensive but has a round C shape neck.

I wish I did my research and bought that instead.

I'm thinking about buying the 335 and putting the old guitar back to original and giving it away to someone
