GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Hi! Im New Here

Posted by: JoaquinJro Jul 29 2013, 02:17 AM

Hi!

my name is Joaquin, I have 19 years (certainly I look 15 lol) I am very happy to join the community, long time ago i used to have an account and i had great results. but this time I want to start again and hope to meet you all in the forums!

for some bad/weird reasons i don't go to school or have fun with friends like a normal guy. My obligation is go to school only 2 weeks in the year for the school exams. so...i can expend several hours and hours (and hours laugh.gif ...) in guitar practice all day. alone in home!

Honestly i like all kind of music, i enjoy listening to groove/funk, blues, etc. But my biggest influence is heavy metal. i used to go to a lot of concerts; motley crue, KISS, judas priest, and more. I love to watch videos of very skilled guitar players like Michael Romeo, jeff loomis, etc.

My goals aren't that big like be the best guitar in the world or something like that, someday i want to be an endorser of a cool guitar/amp brand and be a professional (and very skilled) guitar player on the internet! haha i don't want money, i just want to be happy with my dear guitar, make guitar instructional DVDS...be a guitar instructor...etc. And the most important: be a humble guitar player and be able to help other people.

i Hope to meet you all and excuse my english!

Hello Joaquin!

Welcome to GMC - as Gabe said, your energy is very positive and if you put it to good use, you will definitely get where you want and if you stay on that road, life will most probably reward you with even more smile.gif

I just reviewed your first REC take, so please go and see what Darius and I suggested, so that we can help you out.

All the best!

Hi New! What do you think about this heavy metal band , they are professionals and very skilled (at the same time) sad that they don't have instructional videos so far. dry.gif
