I was just wondering how artists record many voices so it sounds like a crowd is backing up their singing. I know they would obviously record many people at once, but as this is a bedroom project, is there a way i can fake it and say record my voice and have it sound like there are many people actually singing?

Try to overdub many voices shouting, like 4-5 different voices and I'm certain there are some plugs that can make the "magic" happen smile.gif

Well joe satriani recorded 35 people, 10 times I think, and that worked.

I'd reccomend doing like 10 takes of your voice, different pitches and stuff. Then just multiply them, and put them at different volumes ect.

Also, check out sound effect libraries for general applause and crowd sounds
