Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This is a Modern Blues lesson by Jonathan Burgos and it can be found here:

Modern Blues by Jonathan Burgos

This time I used a very tiny bit of TS808 (almost no gain just as a boost) and some reverb and delay (not much though). Direct in through Damage Control Demonizer (like the warmth of clean sound of it). Sorry (again) for crappy video but I'm working on that problem. Guitar is Am deluxe telecaster.

Here is my take:

edit: just heard that I played two extra notes in the licks around 1:05/6 compared to Jonathan's original tune. This doesn't change the groove of the lick but still I wanted to point out that. In my defence smile.gif , I believe it adds a bit(blends) to the great smooth feel (style) this little tune has.

Cheers!
