I want to explore the area more and play it on guitar, so I was wondering if any of you know what characterizes the music? The only thing I know is a lot of trills and ethnic scales. I have heard some great Middle Eastern music but I think Nile do a good job of recreating it but yeah there are some amazing Middle Eastern acts and I'm going to follow this topic to see if anybody gives any artists to check out.
