Weird setup, especially with 2 bass players - What kind of music are you guys playing with that setup?
And best of luck on the gig! smile.gif

You rock man, I'm sure it will be awesome!

When ypu say 2 drummers and 2 bassits, do you mean both play at the same time? Or taking turns?

Have a great time man! I haven't played in front of a crowd in 13 years and doubt I ever will. I was a drummer. In another life though. Have a great gig and congrats on the band!

Similar experience, haven't stood in front of a crowd since 1993! Just remember to relax and take whatever comes. Smile (even if only on the inside) and soak up the experience.

Also remember: extra picks, strings, batteries!

Dude, I love it!! I've been in a band with 2 drummers before and with my current band we do double bass player shows when our old bass player isn't on tour with his other band. If you're in a rock or metal band having extras in the rythm section adds more bottom end and energy to a live show. I've known a lot of bands who added a third guitarist as well. I think it's awesome if you can lock everything in and do it well. Here's a video of my friend's band doing a 2 drummer show with their old drummer and their current one. Having the 2 drums just adds a whole lot more energy to it. Have fun with your show. Don't worry about doing well, just have a good time with it. Playing a live show is really addictive and once you do it you're going to be itching for the next one. So make sure you really remember this one.

I am glad that the first song is really easy.... its just 2 chords going around the entire song.

But i am not ery nervous yet an i think it will go well.
