Every time I come here it feels like I'm in the supreme court of Guitar Critiques. :) I've been working on this for a while now, and tried to fix most of the things you noted in my previous takes, I hope you enjoy this one. And thank you so much for your guidance and support.

YEAH! To me there is now a big improvement feel wise - which what I initially commented on in your first take.

The take is pretty much enjoyable to me now. I think you are ready to move on and you are now well deserving of a 7 from me smile.gif

I am looking forward to hear what the other guys say.

And I guess you are in Supreme Court here - we are fair and honest (hopefully biggrin.gif )

Hi mate!

We are working on this one at the mentoring program (Link https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=54006&st=240&start=240) so you already know my thoughts about your take on this one. You are a hard worker and this new take, compared to the previous ones is the proof.

I notice that you've fixed all the pitch issues as well as the timing ones. Everything sounds tight and on pitch, and besides that, your tone is perfect for this solo and backing track.

One thing that I would like to mark for the future is to put some attention into the use of dynamics. That's the next element to adjust in your playing.

Congratulations on your excellent job Anese. Keep on rocking.

Hey there!

First of all it's great to see your attitude. I'm glad you realize that REC is more like a meeting with a teacher in person rather than a "talent show judges". We just point out things that could be missed or ideas how to improve. We've all been in your shoes, continousoly fighting with a particular piece and we know how it feels. It's a good thing and a great way to learn how to "see" important details.

I remember your first take and comparing to this one, you've made a huge progress on this lesson. You don't leave that "beginner" taste anymore. It really starts to sound like pro. Even pros make mistakes or forget some details so don't mind me pointing out that there is missing vibrato on some notes. At some points I can see you sort of "shake your finger" a bit but it doesn't affect the string at all. Listen to Chris take. He has that specific bluesy "wide and fast vibrato and quick cut/pause". That's one of characteristic blues elements.

In general I need to agree with Gab that here are huge improvements on pitch and timing. I also agree that your tone matches the track. Keep up the good work. Remember that it's not that it's taking you sooo much time! It's just how really this lessons needs to be done in a proper way to get 100% profit of it. You are doing it so heads up! smile.gif
