Sd Blackouts In My 7-string, Is it possible?

Is your guitar active or passive? If it's passive it's a bit harder but still doable. Infact you can pretty much use any pickups in any guitar with a bit of work. Ok, thats good to know. ive been told conflicting things about putting actives in a passive guitar, so thanks much for clearing that up! Where the battery goes is what can cause routing issues. I usually just wrap mine in foam and put it under that plate you see on the back. I had to modify the pickup mounting tabs to fit into my guitar and i removed the quick connector pins on the bottom because they kept the pickups from sitting low enough.
