I would tend to believe the "it's great" reviews. I don't own that particular Vox, but I'm very happy with the one I do own, and I've heard nothing but good things about the Valvetronics amps.

I've played only smalle 50W combo version, and it is decent sounding for a modelling hybrid. I expect the same sound, only more louder and with more punch. Good for gigs and rehearsals definitely. Little heavy and loud tho.

I havent had the chance to try out the AD100VTH head yet, but I have a VOX AD50VT-212 combo amp that i just bought from audiopaal and i think it's a wonderful amp.
The high-gain sounds dont quite live up to my Marshall JMP-1, but the clean and crunchy sounds (which is what i intended to use it for) are really good and i prefer them to what my Marshall gives. But dont get me wrong, the Vox AD has got good high-gain/metal sounds, but i prefer Marshall for this. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
