GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Back Again..

Posted by: Andrew6 Oct 25 2011, 12:43 AM

Hello all, some of you may remember me from a few years back I used to frequent the boards and play guitar lots. Well, I have basically taken a year off again and am starting to get back into playing. I would like to start fresh so I am going to post a cover and any tips on what techniques or skills I should work on would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey! Welcome back man! smile.gif

This is an amazing solo and you did a good job! You have some problems in the fastest parts, some synchronization issues when you use AP and some dirty sound in the fastest legato licks. Your vibrato could be wider too. However you have a very good guitar level. Work a bit on those things and you'll do a flawless version of this solo. wink.gif

Thank you for your responses. Vibrato seems to be a returning problem for me. Maybe I will give Ben's Vibrato lessons a shot. Thanks once again.

Excellent job man, it sounds great, your technique hasn't suffered that much! smile.gif I like it. It needs some cleaning, as you may know, but all in all, you rock! Don't worry, you'll get back on tracks in no time! smile.gif
