> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Good take! notes are in place and good fingering. The tone is appropiate, a bit harsh though,

Two main things:

- Picking hand must hit strings harder
- Timing needs to improve and be as tight as...bull fighter pants biggrin.gif I think you can still tell the small time difference between guitar and backing track

I agree on the fact that you should practice a bit more on developing your tightness mate! Around 0:32-0:35 you can hear that the hands are out of sync somewhat! The whole ensemble is good, but it can be taken to perfection if you'll give it a little more time! Cheerios!

Very good playing. I think the guys are right you should make your timing better. In the lead section, vibrato needs to be more wider and slower. In the rhythm section, I think you should downpick those riffs, and play strictly alternate picking. It will create better tone and you will get better timing.

Good playing man! You should use only downstrokes in the riffing and work on it because your hand seems to get tired after when you play the palm muting part. Keep on working!
