Its very rare Mesa makes a signature amp, till now maybe only santana (as far as I know, much make a web search to be sure).

Sorry but only one question springs to mind - is that beard real? ohmy.gif

Here are a few things that I really liked.
These are the things that interest 'me' and that I would consider looking deeper into for my purposes.

1) Fender, handwired deluxe with a Celestion blue in it (they call it the Edge deluxe - apparently he now uses AC-30s along with 5e3's - ?). It's a 50s style, low wattage, tweed fender amp ...

This thing sounded really good!

2) This was the most innovative and potentially useful piece of gear (for me) that I saw ...

Sort of like the Kemper for acoustic instruments, designed primarily for live applications. Models/profiles a mic'd sound along with your insts pkup. You can then recall that sound live. Also has high end pre-amp and EQ functions. The demo sounded great.

3) Dogu custom electric guitars ...

Nothing ground breaking but I love Tele inspired axes and this one did not want me not want to put it down.

*Sorry that there's no pics from Mesa, Fender, Ibanez, Marshall, etc. Those booths are are like the Gare du Nord at 8:00 am on a week day. I'm too old for that anymore. Honestly, you can get a better feel for those products from the videos and then waiting for them to come out and playing them where you can actually hear them.

Now that is just too spiff smile.gif It's a full range bluetooth speaker and guitar amp just bigger than a lunch pale. I may have to grab one myself!!! Olat will somehow make a preset to force it to DJENT smile.gif

looool laugh.gif I'm gonna tell kris to ban you from this topic, its just too dangerous biggrin.gif

Namm vid.s started popping up, I know Rob's channel is popular here but for the namm stuff make sure to go to Andertons channel;

JP is no longer a young man and yes, he does use some extra coloring in his hair and beard ohmy.gif) I think he should go "Au Natural". He is JP, so what if there is some grey in his beard?

And yeah, I can't wait to try that amp, and I sure hope every other vendor (software and hardware) embraces the dual eq thing smile.gif
