Hey guys! My name is Tyler Teeple (A slight resemblance to my forum name
 ) and I am from Ontario Canada!I have been playing guitar for about 6 and a half years and have been serious for the past 2 and a half (when I joined GMC) This song/solo is from my old band! The song was called Lights Out  This lesson is going to be on Metal Soloing, it includes: -Tapping -Pinch Harmonics -Strong Rhythmic sense Here is the main lesson video: (solo starts at around 0:15) Guitar pro tab and backing tracks are located at the bottom of the post! Tuning: C G C F A D (Drop C) *I will include backing tracks in Drop D as well!* It is mostly made up of the following: Spanish Gypsy/Phrygian Dominant Scale:  Diminished Arpeggio:  Slow Video: Lick 1: |-3-| This first lick shouldn't give you too much trouble You want to play it aggressively! Add some pinch harmonics for flavour Lick 2: Q E Q S S S S S S Watch out for the timing here! The big slide from 16 to 23 should sound smooth and not forced! Lick 3: E S S E S S E S S S S S S Make sure the bend/tap/release is on time for this one! Keep playing aggressive Lick 4: |--3--| |--3--| |--3--| |--3-| |--3-| |-3-| |-3-| |-3 Heres a cool triplet run!!! Pretty fast and some position switching, so start off slow and build up! Check out all the forum posts on alternate picking if you run into trouble, they help a lot! Lick 5: Q E S S S S S S S S S S Nothing too hard here, I use some wah for the ending bit^^ Lick 6: H Q S E S Some really wierd timing here, be sure to re-watch the video to get it spot on ! Lick 7: T T T T T T T T T T T T Some Michael Romeo style Dimished Arpeggios! Practise them with a metronome as the timing is a bit odd, if you run into trouble check out Emir Hot's Michael Romeo/Symphony X style lesson as he does similar runs in that! This is amazing man! It's a very well composed solo. Your technique is very good, great vibrato and cool last tapping lick! Thanks for posting this complete lesson here! Keep this great stuff coming!

I think it's awesome! Great composition and awesome solo, you played it so well!
There are few minor details in your playing, tone and lightning of the video that could be polished up. Keep up the good work. Material and explanations in your post are excellent with good attention to detail!
