GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Nux Cerberus V5 Update

I mentioned this before but its still getting updates (been released 2 years ago I think). Its very affordable for what it does.

It does what I prefer by using pedals, the od and dist. pedal acts like stages of an amp. These are digitally controlled analog by the way and from there the modulation fx is digital but parallel. Finally ends with an ir loader, not Helix quality (they have a separate ir pedal for that which has poweramp sim too) but still good. Its a very popular product where I live.

So if you bypass the ir loader you get a pedalboard which can be connected 4 cable method, potentially can serve someone a very long time.

edit; video was removed so I found another one

Ha, ha!
Yeah, I keep looking at that thing. It definitely has a lot of great/useful features. I'd like to play through one for an hour.

Will admit I thought about it but I have gear thats very similar, the digitech rp12 (drive/dist. is analog) and a few pedals. So an ir cab. and mod. fx from computer is not much burden (or zero latency with digitech, cab. sim. when eq'd is not bad)

There's only one downside; If a pedal is placed before it, then it may produce a static type sound. Avoid or fixable but check thegearpage forum for details.

Edit; this was the video I first shared, its up again;

As would I!!! I like review vids and all, but it's not the same as getting your hands on it for an hour or so imho. Maybe I'll reach out to them to see if they'll send me a unit to review.
