Thanks mate im fine smile.gif buisy with my baby but sometimes i can still find time to play smile.gif how are you and how is your band going?

Hi mate! Nice! Enjoy your baby. These must be unique moments. smile.gif

Everything is good here! Our singer is on tour with a play so we'll get back to work when she finishes it. In the meantime, we are working and polishing the songs.

Yeah i also notice something that sticked but how more i listened i didnt notice any more. I wanted to do the b3 to 3 Move so that it was a mixolydian riff. But i think i will bend the b3 a micro tone and leave out the major third.
I don't still like the brass section but think i will delete it or try to edit it some more and lower the sound.

About the drums, maybe i can look for another drum pattern but i didnt make the patterns my own. I use studio drummer from native instruments. I didnt like to spend time on the drums but maybe if i eq it a bit it can be better.

ON the last part i will also come up with a solo but first i want a bass on all parts so that will be my next step smile.gif
Ill keep you updated. Thanks for the advice man.

These are all good ideas. I think that little by little you will be polishing this song. Those three elements are the ones I would focus on the most now (riff at the beginning, drums, brass arrangements).

If you want, you can share with me some variations for the riff at the beginning so that we can choose together the one that works best.

This evening i spend another hour on working on the arangement. I played a bass part for every section. I also changhed the brass a bit and trie to lowe the volume. What do you say of it?
I also doubt if i have to put some kind of lead in the beginng part or not? What do you think?

I still listen to something weird in the beginning part. The 6th doesn't sound good, but when I play it with my guitar, it works. It seems that your 4th string is not perfectly tuned and that could be the reason why it doesn't sound great. Can you please check it out? You can try recording it again with your guitar perfectly tuned, (be sure that the calibration is right) and compare it with this one.

Very nice man it looks like a great place where a lot of People can join the concert.

Congrats on your wedding man really nice picture. You seem like a nice good looking couple.

Yeah i didnt changed the guitar yet i only recorded the bass.
I still need to record the guitar again with some variations and show you so we can choose the best.
However i have rarely time to play because i have 6 gigs in april and have to prepare for it. I hope i have more time afterwarda.
But i also have some great news. Because we have so much gigs already this year it getting more serious. So i started my own company so i can sens bills and getting more serieus about making some money with music. I need to pay taxes and take things more serious.
My goal is to work 28 hours in the your care like i do know and play 1 gig or so in a week. So we will see how it goes

Awesome!! I didn't get some things here...

"So i started my own company so i can sens bills"

What is "can sens bills"?

"My goal is to work 28 hours in the your care"

What does "in your care" mean?

Sorry man. Sometimes my Phone correct some words in a bad way.
I ment can send bills. So facturate to companys. As a band we try to play more like semi professionals. Make some money out of it but not for a complete living.

I ment in the youth/child care instead of your care.
I do social work and help children with mental issues or helo parents how they can educate their children

Hi Tim! Thanks for clarifying! Both things sound great. On the one hand I think it's great that you've started your company so that music can be a more important form of income, and on the other hand it's beautiful that you dedicate that amount of time to helping those in need.

You have a big heart!

Thanks man for your nice words.

I want to show you a shot vid of a gig where i singed the song.
Im singing more lately. Its frightening but it become better smile.gif

Im still working on the funk but have less time so i have to finish a solo and tje main groove. Hope next month smile.gif

I also thought a lot and decided that im gonna focus more on funk and R en B rhythm and soloing in mixolydian and dorian.
So i think upcoming year i will focus mainly on groobe and phrasing stuff. I like it more and more and need to choose a direction to become better ar some things instead of doing al half.

How is your life as a married man? smile.gif do you like it.
