Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

It's much better in case of tune! Also some of Your bends are much more in tune! Not all but now it less than more smile.gif Also the vid quality is slightly better! Maybe it's just a matter of early daylight tongue.gif

0:20 those slides need some more precision. As for the position it is You who has to feel comfortable with it smile.gif Cosmin only suggested to try different that might be more comfortable...but he was just guessing smile.gif Make Your own decission now, when You have a comparison smile.gif

You have much more fluency in the second part. Try to look closely at the moments when Piotr plays hard and when he doesn't. Don't make all notes eqal...add some more contrast, focus on the accents. Anyway...getting better and better smile.gif

Fantastic improvement mate! As Darius said, both your tuning and timings improved a lot in this take. Now it's time for the last thing that I said you ha to concentrate on: dynamics. Review Piotr's playing and try to imitate his way of managing dynamics on this lesson.

That's all you have to do to get a 10. Keep on the good job! smile.gif

Hi my friend, it's good to see you playing standing up. A lot of people skip that kind of thing but it's essential !

I agree with the other guys that you're getting better but some improvement can still be made on things like ;
string bending - making them sound more controlled
timing - getting the phrases to flow a bit more naturally.

If it were myself, I would spend a longer time practising between each video because 1 day is not enough to make any significant change in one's overall ability, in my opinion. So my advice would be to work on those things but spend longer at it before submitting another REC. That way, there's more chance that we'll be hearing significant improvements from you smile.gif

Hey Tim! As Darius said - the suggestion I made, was regarding the sitting position - try things out and see what feels more comfortable and natural for the body.As for the playing - dynamics should be your main focus now and the bits where Darius spotted the timing issues. My suggestion would be to try and emulate the original take, by recording over it - once you can make your take fit perfectly on the original one, try and record over the backing track. You will notice some interesting changes, I think smile.gif

Keep bluesing!

Cosmin
