So i got to play a REAL vintage 3 pickup les paul custom the other day during my guitar lesson. Since the shop has more of a pawnshop feel to it (they got TWO marshall 100 watt 'JIMI' heads in last week) lots of cool vintage stuff comes in. The guitar was selling for a mere 1600 dollars too! I liked it a lot more than my sg and now am looking more at les pauls instead of strats for my next purchase. Anyway just thought i'd share, really a kinda dream guitar.

EDIT: my teacher called it the spinal tap guitar

If it's really a vintage guitar, it might be worth way more than the 1600 they ask for it!

cool! I personally prefer 2 pups on LP, but 3 looks cool and vintage as well, specially if in black/gold combo

Yeah but it has TONS of minor damage. Broken pup rings, nicks all over the neck, and the pups were replaced for dimarzios, minor wiring issues. Still a wonderful guitar though.
