Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Yannick!! It's so great to see you already making takes for the REC program! We can only grade takes when the students record it at the lesson's main tempo. However I would like to suggest you to keep on practicing this one but at slower tempo, trying to make sure that both hands are synchronized. Once you feel comfortable with one tempo, increase it a bit and do the same. Be patient and use metronome.

Agree with Gabriel - We cannot grade this take but we might give You some tips by far. You seem to handle the take pretty ncie but there are some problems with hands synchro. I'm sure You could very easily catch those by yourself. Ale at some points You miss the timming. You're on a good patch with both hands movements but accuracy in alternate picking is very important and this need to be improve. Focus on the accents You can try to play harder every first note of the triplet or one per 6 notes. Find spots that are equal to the drum beats and become a drummer for a moment smile.gif

Hello there smile.gif

As the guys pointed out - the REC section is meant for full tempo recorded lessons, so we will use this one to give you some pointers. Gabe and Darius suggested the spots which need your focus and I will tell you that you should isolate each part of the lesson and focus on playing it slow - play along with the slow recording and notice if you can match it perfectly. Then put all the parts together and play the lesson over a metronome click smile.gif In this way, you will make sure that you can play it in any environment possible. Then try the slow backings until you can play perfectly over the full tempo one!
