After watching this video I just realised, is it possible to get a sithar effect out of a guitar? http://youtube.com/watch?v=FTnWiW8aybs You seem to use various exotic instruments such as tablas and sithars. My grandfather was friends with Sitharist Virtuso Ravi Shankar in India. Dont know if you know him. Dont know if you know him. ravi shankar is the best no1! of course i know him, im not really a sitarist although i really like the sound and feel of a real sitar! i bought mine in Agra in the north of india some 10 years ago i have used it on a few trax on my nu cd that will be out in 2008 featuring XZappa drumma whiz kid swede:morgan Agren, metal singer Björn Jansson(tears of anger) and other incredible musicians! i like to blues a little bit on the sitar,thats all ,hope you like it! best regards Mats.
