Hohner Custom, Anuy other owners?!

Jun 16 2009, 08:52 AM	Learning Roadie Posts: 185 Joined: 22-August 08 From: Leicester, UK	Hi Guys, Anyone out there own a Hohner 'Custom' guitar with a sort of 'sunburst' finish in red and orange, EMG 'Select' pick-ups, and a Steinberger trem system? Just wondered......I've had mine for 20+ years and have never seen another in all that time. It cost £450 back then, and if for some reason it's the only one, it could be worth a few quid by now! I'd say it was a kind of 'Strat' body, but more contoured, and I believe the model is actually 'Custom'. I've been searching for more info on the net, but nothing yet!! Can't even find a reference to it on Hohner's site. Apparently, Hohner are German, but some of their models were made in Asia. I'll keep looking... Cheers! I remember the Hohner Liscensed Steinberger model and then they bought out the headless one but with a Strat style body, is that the one you've got Kev? After this they brought out the Hohner 'Professional' range, I have one of the LP style ones, amazingly great sounds for very little cost!!!
