Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

WOW!!! This is NOT and easy one. This is serious playing. I'm frankly amazed at your increase in ability since the last time I saw you playing. Back then, I was re recording some licks that you had come up with and we were working on some rough demos. Do you remember all that? I gotta say you would not need anyone to play anything for you now. Your playing has grown tremendously. You are playing this at full speed and doing quite well. There are a couple of hiccups here and there but nothing that threw me out of enjoying the piece. I'm impressed with your technique, your precision and your picking in particular. Congrats on getting through this piece. It's just a bear. You've earned this one as far as I'm concerned. Well done!!!

From what I can tell this is frikking amazing! Awesome to hear from you again man!

It would be very cool to get to hear you louder/clearer in the mix so we can give you just the right amount of praise for your picking technique! Right now I can hear the the synth dub much clearer and it's hard to tell how synced your are. I would advise you to either just turn the volume of your take up, and/or add some middle frequencies and maybe cut some bass.

Other than that your vibrato technique is not quite up to par with your picking - it sounds shallow and a bit uneven.

I will still give you an 8 as this piece is much about blowing away the listener and I think you accomplished that!

This is EPIC man!! This is one of the trickier guitar lessons every and you are playing it!! Congratulation mate.

It would be cool, as Kris said, to hear you louder in the mix but other than that this is legedary. GREAT JOB mate.

This is really outstanding performance from the point of view "as it is". It's a fact that your guitar is covered with synth a little too much so we may not be able to clearly detect any issues. I think for this lesson it is allowed to go even louder with guitar volume than Muris did in his original track....just for the sake of honest and constructive feedback. I judge your take from the point as it has been mixed so it all seems to be a piece of really nice job but for the future I highly recommend to make the guitar stand out from the mix a little more. I can agree with Kriss on your vibrato, that is too shallow for neoclassical playing and you seem to not give enough attention to bent note. But both of these are just a little slice of this lesson so to be fair, I need to keep my grade in proper proportion to what seems rto work just fine through 90% of the lesson, that's why you get 9 from me. Congrats on challenging such a hard lesson. Well done!
