Will do a bit of a review afterwards smile.gif

NB: They dont do death metal, hence the name!

I would figure they did death metal because of the name.... Since the eagles were one of the best bands ever. And this is that much awesome for a death metal band.

I think the name came from a conversation they were having with another band who said they were the "Poison of the thrash metal world" to which they responded "Well, we must be the Eagles of the death metal world then!" Hence the name.
They are big mates with Jack Black, Dave Grohl (foo fighters, Nirvana) and Josh Homme (Queens of the stone age) and frequently star in each other videos (Check the link for I want you so hard and have a look at the strange guys in wigs at the bar!)
They have had quite a few hits in UK so last nights gig with only 2400 people is still quite intimate I suppose, anyway they rocked the place and Jesse "Electric Boots" Hughes was his usual entertaining self on stage, they dont take themselves too seriously which is great and just have a good time, wouldnt say they are the finest guitarists in the world but they were worth every penny of the ticket price at 15 pounds.
