Hi I was just doing a test with GTR3 - Guitar Rig 3 - Amplitube Metal - Revalver MKIII, just to hear the difference.
All recording was made in Cubase SX3 one guitar track.
All setting are the same for all (Modern Amp for GTR3, Gratifier for Guitar Rig 3, Metal Lead T for Amplitube Metal, Flathill for Revalver MKIII), with same setting, full drive ,bass 3 a clock Middle 9 a clock Treable 3 a clock presence 10 a clock.
First with original cabinet then with an Impulse thrugh VoxengoBoogex all setting`s the same in every program.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this!
They all sound different.

Thanks for this test! It's cool to compare all these plug ins. None of them convinced me too much in these takes. I can say that I preffer Guitar Rig 3 but I still preffer Line 6 Pod X3 or XT.

Every test that I have been seeing on the net is with Impulses and not with the default cabs, with impulses you change the sound alot often to be better becouse it is in the cabsimulation that these program has it`s differens.
With impulses you can get a god sound from everyone of these, just a little different sound`s.
The Impulse I use is from (Official Sperimental Impulses Pack) made by Alu from Guitar Amp Modeling.
it is Mesa Oversized 4x12 V30 SM57 01.wav.
Hope you like it

Very cool comparison test mate. You have left out Gearbox, but it's OK. I think Amplitube is worth checking out as well.

I've used only Toneport extensively so far, and I've transferred to Guitar Rig recently so I'm still exploring it, but I think what I've seen and heard so far, Guitar Rig really rocks. It's set of features and sound is great. Needs tweaking but sounds are there and are very nicely modeled.
