Myself have to say rythm becasue i dont have the quick fingers for really fast solos yet.... I can really get into the groove of that kind of thing. But I'm also decent at blues soloing I think, though improvisation is something that still needs work. I like playing both rythm and lead, but I know a lot more songs by lamb of god and gojira than other bands because their riffs are just so "soloish", and they usually don't have any shred soloes that I can't play. Some bands have easy riffs and extremely hard soloes, so I can't play either of them (won't play the riffs because they are too easy and cant play the soloes because they are too hard... Love playing lead in my own songs though, and in songs that have soloes I can manage to play Of course I'm better at rythm than lead.
