Het robin, quick way to make it alphabetical is to jus use Microsoft Word, so just copy and paste the list into word, and you can highlight it and sort it alphabetically, so you dont have to do it on your own.

For the blues section my good man!
Here Robin http://www.softplatz.com/Soft/Utilities/File-Disk/Sort-Text-Lists-Alphabetically-Software.html
Just copy+paste your list into that, sort, copy and paste back on here! It is free but you can't save your list as a file, but you can paste into wordpad and save that way, if you need to save it... Should save you some time anyway.

oh man I forgot Gong. Supposidly, the found there sax player in a cave!
I wont be able to update any more untill next Sunday. Going on a fishing trip this weekend, at sea.
Edit: Nevermind. Got really sick today Today I tasted the worst thing I have ever tasted in my whole life. Some really crappy cough medicine. Oh god damnit.
george thorogood for blues
This list is great, i need to check out so many people on there.
2 modern blues players are john mayer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFdq4b0NjWU
and Johnny Lang (great voice)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DayCrQWJXuI
might wanna check em out
and can someone explain to me why Freddie King aint up there?
I think maybe you getting Mayer mixed up with Mayall?
I dont think you added my blues list Robin?
There is a guitar player (and singer songwriter) called John Mayer - he's been Grammy nominated a few times and does play blues.
Cheers,
Tony
Btw, does Chuck Berry qualify as blues? I thought he was the first rock'n'roller
Oh see ive gone and mixed John Mayall with John Mayer, i dont know who Mayer is
Thanks Robin
Well i have heard him play the blues, maybe he is blues/rock then? i dont know
I've never heard Mayer - only know of him because my wife 'likes' him ('likes' in the sense that she thinks he's cute .)
Cheers,
Tony
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6sPmTgPvx28 Here is John Mayer.
I LOVE the soloing he does in the start, but when he starts the song it start sucking imo.
Edit: never mind, it seems like the song was cut away from this video.
some might know John Mayer from his solo career. (mostly acoustic) But in 2005 he joined a trio and decided to change his direction in music. Hes also got a wicked live album called try that i would recommend
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qla13aWrNP4
You should add Shawn Lane and Guthrie Govan to the fusion list also.
Thanks man.
Here is another addition to the fusion list.
Arkadiy Starodoub
Robin, you got to put Brad Paisley under country. He is an excellent guitarist!
I have been lazy with this list lately. I will add more youtube links on Thursday.
Everyone feel free to add more bands and artists to the list and/or give me youtube links for some of the bands and artists already on the list, thanks.
Btw I'm also thinking about making a list with folk music from all around the world. The only problem is that I only know about norwegian and irish folk, so I hope you guys know more than me What does everyone think about it?
One note: You've put Scott Henderson in the Jazz category, but he's a blues player =p
http://youtube.com/watch?v=stMPRu4GuIA
Scott plays some Jazz as well so lets say he's Fusion player
You know what I never realized, you don't have JOHN ZORN here!!!!! Hes an avant-garde/experimental sax player. He also has a band called Naked City but thats more of a movie score kinda music than anything really.
Karaim Part 1 and 2
http://youtube.com/watch?v=VLRcr5An5xY
http://youtube.com/watch?v=xtjrHPPb-ro
I haven't really checked out this list before, but I'm gonna do that as soon as I have time. I just noticed that Jan Johansson (Jazz) is missing.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=174577925
Another guy that is pretty interesting in blues is SKip James, old Delta Bluesman that could play guitar, piano and sing with a real passion.
Can somebody please recommend me a Pat Metheny album for "newcomers"...?Which one do you like best ???
