Hi mate!

Good job here! Those riffs are sounding very tight! The combination of your downpicking technique, palm muting and guitar tone are pure mastery. I love how it sounds!

The section that goes from 00:47 to 0:56 can sound tighter. Also, that last octave chord sounds a bit out of tune. The following melody can also sound a bit tighter.

I've listened to your take without reading your post, so I was really surprised when the harmonized section began! It sounds great mate! I just find that the last harmonized note is not the best option (01:14). One off those notes doesn't sound well over the chord of the moment.

By the way, great take, great sound and amazing video quality. It's an 8!

Nicely done!! Your down picking is very solid as is your palm muting. Also, I can tell you are grooving with the track. It's very important for a performance to actually enjoy what's being played. This is part of what makes a given performance fun to listen to, no matter what you are playing. So it's great when a player is digging what they are playing.

Your hand synch is really good here. If hand synch is off, a song like this would sound really bad. It requires precision as the track has that Judas Priest feel which is everyone hitting their mark on time every time. On looser blues tracks, one can get away with looser playing, not on tracks like this. You are spot on here in your take. Well done and very cool addition with the harmony on the solo!

Solid 8

Hey there!

Really good performance. I think I would slightly hide the guitar in the mix because it has lots of "pithy" mids that strongly establish it's place in the frequency range 1 or 3 dB less would probably not make drastical difference to the clarity of guitar itself. This is of course subjective but I wanted to share these thoughts anyway smile.gif

I have an impression you do play a little in front of the beat. It is mostly audiable when drums start to play with snare accents on strong beats.

The are several finger slips (not perfect fretting or hand sync) like 0:34

There is also often appearning noise issue - unwanted strings start to ring and distorub the notes being played. At some spots your hands loose contact with the strings for too long and this is why it's happening. I asume more focus on the topic would solve the problem.

you general hand mechanics looks promising and you look comfortable while playing. Congratulations smile.gif
