Amp, how do i get blues sound on the amp?

unsure.gif Hi i have a fender amp that shows a round knob with the numbers 1 to 10 where 1 is no sound im woundering how to get the best blues sound if you can give any tip about how i should adjust the amp please let me know i have reverb bass middle and treble but how low or high should i put them on (btw on my pickup switch i use the "rythm" the "bassiest" sound hehe

Hmmmm....I don't really play blues, so I'm not sure how helpful this will be....but it seems to me that blues players use pretty moderate settings....I'd set your Bass at about 12:00, your Middle at about 2:00, and your treble at about 3:00, with your reverb up around 4:00, and if you have a "gain" knob, keep that at a moderate setting as well, probably somewhere between 9:00 and 12:00.

Like I said, I don't really play blues, and I haven't heard your amp, but these settings should at least get you in the ballpark and give you something to work with. smile.gif

those settings you just suggested, whatever they were, sounded great on my amp biggrin.gif i was just playing in c minor pent scale for ages, i cant wait to learn other scales
