Does anyone know how flexile the GNX4 is for making songs? Can the drum patterns change time sequence within a song, say from 4/4 into 7/8?
I'm looking for ways to break lose from the computer a bit, sure it's flexible and all but I think I'd rather have just a few pieces of hardware to go. Any suggestions on flexible stuff, small mixer, drummachine, portable studio etc. Name drop all you want but keep things on the inexpensive side please And to add a few things I could think of in my setup - GNX4 as a total recording studio (may take drums from EZdrummer to load into GNX4) Pre amp - ENGL 530 or H&K Tubeman Mixer Just a small simple cheap from Behringer -------------------- My bands homepage

Thanks for the great input! I would mostly use it for practice and recording songs, that why the GNX4 strikes me as such a good tool for that for it's possibilities to record onto it. And what you say about uploading mp3's to it comes very handy, I could make a drumtrack with EZdrummer for those time signature switches and upload as an mp3 into the GNX4
What worries me a bit is that Digitech, at least I've read it somewhere, is discontinuing the GNX series and are coming with comething completely new. ...probably the day after I get my GNX4 So the question is if I shouldn't wait a little bit and see what's coming. -------------------- My bands homepage
