Ok, we all play guitar and we are nerdy enough to be on a forum to talk too much about it. So what kinda dumb stuff do you have that has a guitars on it?

I'm talking mousepads, ties, Coffee Mugs, etc.

My fav is my guitar pajamas. Similar to this:

But let's get deep, who has the dumbest, nerdiest guitar stuff in their life? This is a safe place. I might post what really is my nerdiest item if you guys show me some awesome stuff.

I must confess that when I see boxer shorts with guitar motives - I need to buy them smile.gif
Also, I would usually not resist getting a Hard Rock Cafe t-shirt when traveling, just for the rock/guitar theme.
Last but not least, coffee cups that have music/guitar related motives are given advantage smile.gif

Yep I got the same guitar spatula. I think sometimes people don't know what gifts to give me, so it's like "oh, well he's a musician, get him something with a guitar on it".

Probably where most of my stuff like that comes from.

Now the Flying V shredder, I just gotta have that. ohmy.gif

Nope smile.gif

I am a super minimalist dude smile.gif I don't like things that aren't really useful and I don't keep anything just for the sake of having it. If I don't like it or need it, it doesn't have a place in my life smile.gif

Ha,

I thought the same thing. I'm sure there's a marshall drum pad out there. Big companies throw their name on tons of stuff.

Anyone have the marshall fridge?

There's one on clearance at GC right now near me. I wish it had SOME kind of amplification in it. THAT would be rad.

Years ago I had a 2 door Ford Explorer Sport. I worked closely with a sign maker that used vinyl, so I had him make me a big massive Marshall logo to go all the way across my back window.

I am the victimized recipient of the random guitar gift. It's to the point I would rather not receive a present (I know that sounds bad). But it's like people think to themselves, "oh, it's got a guitar on it - he'll love this tie" or belt buckle, or tiny decorative guitar that just sits on a shelf to look at.

I NEVER wear something with a guitar on it - unless maybe it's a brand name, I got a cool black Jackson hat when I purchased that guitar - sort of made me laugh, like, Free bowl of soup with every Jackson you purchase!

Anyway - I guess most people got the message, so now I don't receive items emblazoned with guitar graphics anymore - it has switched to Clemson Tigers logos. Socks, shirts, underwear, stickers, keychains. I have a closet full of cheap Clemson Tiger T-Shirts that I will NEVER wear - even though they are my favorite team, but, i prefer to buy my own clothes - and I have enough Clemson logo clothes to stock a section of Walmart.

I hope this isn't selfish, and I always grin and say "thanks", when in my mind I would rather have not received anything than to pretend I like an item with little colorful guitars or a tiger paw all over it.

I'll gladly take the cash instead. smile.gif
