Greetings.

Well in this Saturday I decided I want to Boom the hell of my apartment neighbors . there is nothing like Rocking with this riffs. Now For me when i play stuff like this i know it is influenced by Megadeth.

I wanted for a long time to do a lesson like this, I like jamming on heavy stuff as this one , I think everyone should be able to play stuff like this.
Well let's check it out.

Main video:Attached File  main_video.wmv ( 4.52MB ) Number of downloads: 4657

Ok let's Work

Video 1:Attached File  video_1.wmv ( 2.63MB ) Number of downloads: 3887

I think this really common in metal music to play it as a main them in a song , if you want another example take "Judas is raising"

Now pay attention to the groove this everything here with the 16'Th triplets.

The reason this part is slower , because the first one was really intense now this one takes every tension and put it in the harmonic. And then descending to a C# that is belonging to E maj scale. Try to combine the minor and major together it sounds awesome.

After all the speed come parts like this. This where you groove around the stage or let you hair fly in head banging , also very typical to Megadeth and then. Back to speed.
No here it is all down stroke hey?.

This one of the most typical entries Marthy fridman is doing some weird Arpeggio and then a stretch. Sweep and a stretch. . I seriously recommend going to Pavel's Sweep lesson if you want to go inside really deep. You can always play fast but pay attention on the Beat.

Now this is something Dave will do after Marthey is slowing , Dave is also a speed demon, now pay attention how again it is E minor and then Bb with F Beckar. Sounds wired but bring some heavy feeling ha??

It is always end like this doesn't and it brings interest into the finishing part.
Again pay attention how Bb is entering nice here although it is a sharp 5'th .

Now remember if you decided you are going to play and learn it do it until you finish the job , every lesson should be finished. When you are used to take only small parts you don't work on Staying in rhythm

Very good lesson as usual Eyal! smile.gif I think there is a bit of the problem with the audio quality though. The backing track is a little too loud and it blocks out your great guitar playing ! smile.gif

As usual, good lesson ! You really should be an instructor ! biggrin.gif

very nice lesson Eyal. Just the kind of heavy lesson this site hasnt seen for a while smile.gif.

The audio was a little unclear but since you have a pod, have you considered recording straight into the computer with the usb cable?

funny this is exactly how it is recoreded,

i want to add that it is also part of the sound that i wanted . check put the early stuff of megadeth, Rust in peace and countdown, it is like metalzone pedal, so i used the killer z in the pod for the exact sound.

i hope you dig it , i think it brings some feeling in to the air
