Hi Muris!

I actually think I will ask you some questions and ask for some tips regarding this lesson ( if you don't mind )
I know that my overall skills are a bit to low for this lesson but I absolutely love the sound and the riffs that you did.

Ok here we go:
The first part, the first riff, is fairly "doable" and with some practice I can hit this one. I get some unwanted noises when playing the 10th fret (where I use my thumb) on the low E string. But that should be ok after some more practicing.

However the fast parts is where I have some serious troubles. I guess it's a lot to ask for to be able to nail these parts right away but perhaps you have some tips for me to be able to play those parts? Like some other lessons I should focus on to be able to build up the needed speed and accuracy?
(this is one of the parts that sounds awful when I try to play it quick smile.gif )

Hi. smile.gif

I understand that using thumb can produce some noise
if you're new to it but it will be better as the time goes by
and you become more familiar to it.

As for the lick you have problems with,
it starts right after pretty simple riffing and is a bit tricky.
Also,it's a lick that combines alternate picking and legato
so you'd need good control in your picking hand to pick "right" notes.
Play it slow, follow your hand, teach it which notes to pick
and then upgrade the speed step by step.
It's all in 16th triplets so it's easy to count I hope. smile.gif
