Hi
That's tricky question to answer indeed, making of lesson, the idea for it. Well, usually I pick a topic for it,level, basic style etc. Then I create a lead/rhythm line by simply jamming along, adding things and throwing something out. When I have general sheet done then I start making backing track. Important thing to say is that I "hear" progression while I'm playing lead, that feels natural to me,no miracle tho, comes with lot of practicing and playing, that's all. As for theory,I'm trying to learn more every day. The more you know, the wider perspective you have. But indeed you can create melodic solo by not knowing too much of theory. Good idea is to sing a melody and then to locate it on fretboard, comes in handy. Maybe I missed something, please say if I did. -------------------- Youtube
